Christian & Timbers is pleased to highlight the appointment of James C. Foster as Operating Partner at NightDragon, a growth-stage investment firm focused on cybersecurity, safety, and privacy.
Mr. Foster brings more than twenty years of executive leadership and company-building experience in the cybersecurity industry. He is widely recognized for founding and leading ZeroFox, where he served as Chairman and CEO from 2013 through 2024. During his tenure, ZeroFox achieved over thirty consecutive quarters of annual recurring revenue growth, completed five strategic acquisitions, and scaled into a multi-hundred-million-dollar public company serving thousands of global enterprises.
His leadership has been acknowledged across the business community. He was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year® Mid-Atlantic winner, CEO of the Year by The Daily Record, and received additional recognition from The Baltimore Sun and SmartCEO.
At NightDragon, Mr. Foster will focus on accelerating portfolio company growth, leveraging his track record in scaling cybersecurity firms, navigating public markets, and driving operational discipline across product and go-to-market functions.
