Christian & Timbers is pleased to announce the appointment of Ignacio Gutierrez as Director, AI Delivery at Littelfuse (NASDAQ: LFUS).
Littelfuse is a diversified industrial technology manufacturing company focused on the safe and efficient transfer of electrical energy. Headquartered in Chicago, the company operates in more than 20 countries with approximately 16,000 associates and serves more than 100,000 end customers across transportation, industrial, and electronics markets.
The mandate
Most enterprises have no shortage of AI use cases. The gap sits in delivery: moving generative and agentic AI from proof of concept into production, getting people to adopt the tools, and proving measurable business value to the executive team.
Littelfuse needed a leader to sit between the business stakeholders who own AI outcomes and the AI Center of Excellence building the solutions. The brief prioritized three things: a track record taking automation and AI from concept to production at enterprise scale, the deployment discipline to run intake, prioritization, workflow redesign, and governance, and the credibility to define baselines, ROI, and KPIs and report progress to executive leadership.
The scope spans a strategic-growth AI portfolio and a functional-productivity portfolio covering supply chain, finance, HR, sales and marketing, engineering, and IT.
The candidate
Ignacio Gutierrez has spent more than 10 years pairing Lean Six Sigma rigor with automation and AI.
Most recently he served as Director, IT Transformation at CCC Intelligent Solutions in Chicago. There he expanded the company's Velocity transformation program into Product & Technology, led productivity initiatives supporting 100+ software engineers, and built the executive reporting and business cases used to guide investments in AI, developer productivity tooling, cloud enablement, and technology modernization.
Before CCC, he spent 10 years at Experian. As Director of Smart Automation Delivery, he led global automation delivery and produced:
~$32M in automation savings across global operations.
152K+ days of capacity returned to the organization, equal to roughly 500 FTE.
500+ live bots in production, supported alongside a steady pipeline of new projects.
A custom hybrid Agile framework for automation projects, cutting delivery cycle time by 50%.
A multinational team of 30 engineers, upskilled on GenAI and positioned for agentic automation.
Earlier at Experian, he built the Robotic Process Automation program from scratch, created its methodology and pipeline, and later grew the function as Smart Automation Delivery Sr. Manager. He trained 100+ employees through a Citizen Developer program and assembled a team across India, Costa Rica, Colombia, and the UK. As Project Management Manager, he delivered ~$6M in hard and soft savings in a single fiscal year and won Experian's global Empower Project of the Year.
He also sponsored a University of Michigan MBA Multidisciplinary Action Project to reduce back-office cycle time for Experian North America. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
The fit
Ignacio's career has run through process improvement, robotic automation, GenAI adoption, and now agentic AI. His instinct is to redesign the workflow first, automate second, and measure the result in dollars and capacity. Littelfuse is building toward the same sequence across the enterprise.
"Companies have no trouble starting AI pilots. The real question is who takes them to production and gets people using them. Ignacio has done this at scale, with savings and capacity numbers to back the work up. He is the operator Littelfuse needs to turn AI strategy into results on the P&L."
JC Christian, Christian & Timbers
Congratulations, Ignacio. We look forward to watching you scale AI delivery across Littelfuse.
